Use the English form below to prepare an account-deletion request. You review and send the email yourself. Prepare an email request.
This document explains how to exercise your right to data portability (export) and your right to erasure (account deletion), in accordance with Articles 17 and 20 of the GDPR.
The version officially available today is the Android version distributed through Google Play. No iOS version is currently confirmed as available. The iOS instructions below are conditional and will apply only if such a version is made available.
1. How to export your data
1.1 From the application
From the Profile (You) tab, tap Export my data.
The application prepares a JSON file containing a structured copy of your personal data. The file is then shared using your phone's sharing features (AirDrop, email, cloud storage, etc.).
1.2 What the export contains
The JSON file includes:
| Data | Description |
|---|---|
| Account information | Email, creation date |
| Profile | Time zone, last activity date, onboarding status |
| Notes / captures | Text, status, creation date, archived status |
| Today's priorities | Date, rank, content, status |
| Completed subtasks | Content, position, completion status |
| Check-ins | Date, energy level |
| Small wins | Content, date |
| Daily anchors | Content, time of day, frequency, active status |
| Recurring habits | Content, cadence, status, next date |
| Support intentions | Content, mode |
| Reminders | Related item, scheduled time, creation date |
| Premium preferences | Display theme, item kept in “one thing at a time” mode |
| Subscription | Status, plan, expiry date, cancellation date |
| Problem reports | The text you wrote, its type and date |
Origin labels. Each captured item records its origin: entered manually, dictated, photographed or pasted. Each subtask resulting from a breakdown indicates that it was suggested by a model, which model, and whether you edited it before confirming it. Each text resulting from a clarification indicates that it came from an assisted rephrasing.
1.3 What the export does not contain
For security reasons, or because the data is not useful to you outside the application, the export does not include:
- your internal account identifier (
user_id), - session tokens and their hashes,
- the device identifier (
deviceId), - rate-limiting logs and IP addresses,
- your phone's local preferences,
- AI usage metadata (feature used, model, token counters, estimated cost, status, latency) — this remains covered by your right of access upon request and is deleted with your account,
- technical logs,
- usage analytics events, which do not contain any account identifier and therefore cannot be linked to you (see Article 6.3 of the Cookie Policy),
- local notification identifiers associated with your reminders, which are specific to your phone,
- summary images you have shared: they are composed on your device and are not transmitted to any server.
Note: AI subtasks that you confirmed and committed are included in the export in the same way as your priorities, because they constitute content that you accepted and may have edited.
1.4 Format and readability
The JSON file is an open format that can be read by any text editor and many applications. It allows you to keep a copy of your personal content.
1.5 Manual request
If you are unable to export from the application, contact contact@molleva.fr with the email address associated with your account. We will respond within one month.
2. How to delete your account
2.1 From the application
From the Profile (You) tab, tap Delete my account.
You will be asked to confirm. Recent authentication may be required for this action (for security reasons).
⚠️ If you have an active Premium subscription, deleting your account will not cancel it. The subscription is managed by the store you used, not by us. For the Android version currently available, cancel it first — Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Molleva → Cancel. The iPhone / iPad procedure will apply once the iOS version is made available: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Molleva → Cancel. Do this before deleting your account: after deletion, you will no longer have the application to direct you to it.
The application displays this warning at the time of deletion, only if a subscription is active.
2.2 What is deleted on the server
Upon confirmation, the following items are deleted on the server within 7 days:
- your authentication account,
- your active sessions (revoked immediately),
- your user profile,
- all your notes / captures,
- all your daily priorities and AI subtasks,
- your check-ins, small wins, anchors, habits and intentions,
- your AI usage metadata,
- your rotated-token history,
- OTP challenges associated with your email.
2.3 What is deleted from your phone
The application immediately erases the following from your device:
- the local session,
- the Molleva device identifier,
- your scheduled local reminders,
- your local preferences and settings,
- temporary files created by the application (exports, OCR, sharing),
- scheduled local notifications.
2.4 What may remain temporarily
Some data may remain temporarily after deletion:
| Item | Maximum duration | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Technical backups | 30 days | Infrastructure backup rotation |
| Technical logs | 14 to 30 days | Security and incident detection |
| Support emails received | Variable | Reasonable support retention |
| Billing data | 10 years | Legal accounting obligation (if subscribed) |
This residual data is secured, is not accessible to the application, and is automatically deleted when these periods expire.
2.5 Irreversibility
Account deletion is permanent. Once your account has been deleted, it cannot be restored and your data cannot be recovered.
We strongly recommend that you export your data before deleting your account if you want to keep a copy.
2.6 Manual request
If you are unable to delete your account from the application, send a request to contact@molleva.fr from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within one month.
3. Exercise your other GDPR rights
In addition to export and deletion, you have the following rights:
| Right | How to exercise it |
|---|---|
| Access (Art. 15) | Export from the app or request by email |
| Rectification (Art. 16) | Directly in the app or by email |
| Restriction (Art. 18) | By email to contact@molleva.fr |
| Objection (Art. 21) | By email to contact@molleva.fr |
| Withdrawal of consent (notifications) | In the app settings or system settings |
| Post-mortem instructions (Art. 85 LIL) | By email to contact@molleva.fr |
Response time: 1 month from receipt of your request, extendable to 3 months for complex requests, with prior notice.
Complaint to the CNIL: www.cnil.fr — 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07.
4. Account deletion webpage
A public page, accessible without signing in, explains the steps to follow:
molleva.fr/en/account-deletion
It describes both routes (in the application and by email), what is deleted, what is retained and why, the 7-day timeframe, and the warning that the subscription must be cancelled separately. Its web form does not send any data to a server: it only prepares an email draft in the user's email application. The user must review the draft and then click “Send” themselves. If no email client opens, the page instructs the user to write directly to contact@molleva.fr.
