Registered office: 8 bis rue Abel, 75012 Paris

App and data host:

Railway Corporation — 548 Market St PMB 68956, San Francisco, CA 94104, United States — data hosted in the US East region, under a DPA that includes Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)

Article 2 — Purpose and scope

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Molleva mobile application (the “App”), distributed through compatible app stores when a corresponding version is available.

Molleva is an app for everyday clarity, designed for people who feel mentally overloaded. It helps you clear your head, choose your priorities for the day and move forward gently, without judgment or guilt.

The App is not a medical, therapeutic or mental health app. It is not a substitute for support from a mental health professional, a doctor, a psychologist or any other healthcare professional.

Use of the App constitutes unconditional acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the App.

Article 3 — Access to the App and account creation

3.1 Access requirements

The App is available to individuals aged 15 or over. Individuals aged 15 to 18 must have permission from their legal representative.

Individuals under 15 may not create an account under any circumstances, in accordance with Article 45 of amended French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 (the age of digital consent under French law). Under the age of 15, consent must be given jointly by the minor and the holder of parental responsibility.

3.2 Creating an account

Creating a Molleva account is optional when you first start using the App. You can begin in guest mode without entering an email address. The guest session is retained on the server for a maximum of 14 days and lets you use the product during that period. To access your days on another device or convert and keep your guest session long term, you can create an account later.

When you create or recover your account, the process involves:

  • entering your email address;
  • verifying a 6-digit one-time passcode (OTP) sent to that address (passwordless authentication).

You agree to:

  • provide a valid, active email address that belongs to you;
  • not create an account on behalf of someone else without their express permission;
  • not create multiple accounts for abusive purposes or to get around restrictions;
  • not impersonate another person.

3.3 Account security

You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure. If you suspect unauthorised access, or your device is lost or compromised, contact contact@molleva.fr immediately.

Ammar Osei-Mohamend will never ask you for your OTP, access tokens or authentication details by email, telephone, message or any other channel.

Article 4 — Description of the services

4.1 Free version

The free version of the App is complete and can be used on its own. It includes:

  • Entering and managing your backlog (the “Clear your head” feature)
  • Choosing your priorities for the day (up to 3)
  • Daily check-in (energy level) and low-energy mode
  • Basic task breakdown into smaller steps
  • Small wins
  • Daily anchors
  • Recurring habits
  • Consciously postponing priorities
  • Local reminders (notifications on your device)
  • Exporting your data in JSON format (GDPR data portability)
  • Account deletion
  • Access to the last 14 days of history

Voice capture and reading text from a photo also have limited free discovery access.

4.2 Premium version (paid subscription)

A Premium subscription gives you access to the following thirteen features:

A helping hand

  • Sort your recent captures — assisted organisation of captured items
  • Enriched task breakdown — alternatives and more context to refine smaller steps. Basic task breakdown remains free.
  • Detect a date — find a date in an item; review the suggestion and choose whether to schedule a local reminder
  • Clarify your tasks — assisted rewording
  • Paste a long text — import and structure pasted text
  • Avoid duplicates — flag items similar to one already in your list
  • Enriched voice capture — suggest an order for dictated items after transcription, for you to review and confirm.

Features that use artificial intelligence are subject to usage quotas designed to prevent abuse. These quotas are significantly higher for Subscribers than for free-version users. They are not displayed during use; when a limit is reached, the App tells you when the feature will become available again.

In your space

  • Search the past — search your history
  • Focus on one thing — a display mode centred on a single priority
  • Full monthly recap — read and export the complete monthly recap.
  • Create your own cues — personalised daily cues
  • Two more moods — additional display themes
  • Your full history — access to your entire history, with no time limit

Pricing, subscription, renewal and cancellation terms are set out in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (Terms of Sale).

4.3 Artificial intelligence features

The AI system provider is Mistral AI, a French company whose registered office is at 15 rue des Halles, 75001 Paris (Paris Trade and Companies Register (RCS) No. 952 418 325), acting as a processor within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR.

Seven features in the App use artificial intelligence:

  • Breaking down a priority — the text of your priority is sent so it can be broken down into smaller steps.
  • Voice brain dump — transcription takes place on your device. Only the transcribed text is sent, after you approve it. The audio never leaves your phone.
  • Photo OCR import — text is read on your device. Only the extracted text is sent, after you approve it. The image never leaves your phone.
  • Date extraction — the text of the relevant item is sent so a date can be detected in it.
  • Pasting text — the text is sent after web and email addresses have been redacted. This removal is performed on our servers before any call to the AI system.
  • Sorting your inbox list — the text of the relevant items is sent so the system can suggest how to divide them between today and later.
  • Clarifying a task — the text of the relevant item is sent so the system can suggest a rewording.

Separately from these AI tools, an image is sent to our support team only if you choose to attach it to your report.

These AI features:

  • are subject to usage quotas (hourly, daily, weekly or monthly, depending on the feature);
  • require an active internet connection;
  • send the relevant text to Mistral AI, a French company — you are informed in the App before the first transmission;
  • are entirely optional — no core feature depends on AI.

The following are never transmitted: your email address, account ID, authentication data, dictation audio, photo images or any of your other data (check-ins, anchors, habits, small wins, intentions).

Duplicate detection does not use any AI model: it compares text similarity in our database.

Using these features constitutes express consent to send the relevant text to Mistral AI for as long as necessary to process it.

4.4 Transparency of artificial intelligence systems

(Article 50, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 — AI Act)

In accordance with Article 50 of the Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), as amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, known as the “Digital Omnibus”, Ammar Osei-Mohamend expressly informs you that:

You are interacting with an artificial intelligence system when you use any of the seven features described in Article 4.3 above.

This information is provided in the App before text is first sent to one of these features, through a notice that you can close without triggering the assistance feature.

Labelling of generated content. In accordance with Article 50(2) of the AI Act, the origin of content produced by a model is recorded with your data and included in your export: for each captured item, whether it was typed, dictated, photographed or pasted; and for each subtask resulting from a breakdown, whether it was suggested by a model, which model suggested it, and whether you edited it before confirming it. Preview screens also display the notice “Automatically generated suggestions — please review.” and an option to report an unsuitable result to us.

Limitations of the AI system: AI-generated results are provided as personal assistance. They are not a final decision, professional advice (medical, legal, financial or otherwise), or a recommendation that you should rely on without exercising your own judgment. Ammar Osei-Mohamend accepts no liability for decisions made solely on the basis of AI suggestions.

No automated decision-making with legal effects: Molleva’s AI system does not make any automated decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects concerning you, within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.

Classification of the AI system: Molleva uses AI systems classified as limited risk under the AI Act. None of the App’s features fall within the high-risk AI categories set out in Annex III to Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.

Article 5 — User obligations

You agree to use the App in accordance with its intended purpose, applicable laws and these Terms.

In particular, you must not:

  • use the App for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes, or for purposes contrary to public policy;
  • attempt to compromise the security, availability or integrity of the App or our systems;
  • bypass authentication, rate-limiting or quota-management mechanisms;
  • create fake accounts, impersonate a third party or deliberately provide false information;
  • use automated scripts, bots, crawlers or any other non-human means of accessing the App;
  • reproduce, copy, sell, resell, rent or commercially exploit all or any part of the App without Ammar Osei-Mohamend’s prior written permission;
  • attempt to decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer or extract the App’s source code.

The content you enter in the App belongs to you. You are solely responsible for it. Ammar Osei-Mohamend cannot be held liable for content you store in the App.

Article 6 — Service availability

Ammar Osei-Mohamend endeavours to keep the App available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may occur for:

  • scheduled maintenance (announced in advance in the App);
  • urgent security updates;
  • circumstances beyond our control (see Article 12 — Force majeure).

These interruptions do not entitle users of the free version to any compensation. Compensation terms for Premium Subscribers are set out in the Terms of Sale.

Article 7 — Changes to the service and features

7.1 Right to make changes

Ammar Osei-Mohamend reserves the right to change, improve, add or remove features from the App at any time.

7.2 Free features

Any substantial removal of a feature from the free version will be notified in the App at least 30 days in advance.

7.3 Features enabled by feature flags

The App uses a feature-flag system to roll out features progressively. Some features may not be available to all users at the same time. This progressive rollout does not constitute a failure of the service to conform.

7.4 Service updates

App updates are intended to maintain compatibility with changes to operating systems and devices, ensure the security of the service and data, and improve the service or correct defects.

You will be informed in advance, clearly, a reasonable time beforehand and on a durable medium (a notice that can be retained in the App, or an email).

These updates are provided at no additional cost.

You may refuse an update that is not necessary to keep the service in conformity: refusing it will not result in termination or suspension of access, subject to the technical limitations of your device. However, updates required to keep the service in conformity, including security patches, cannot be refused without exposing you to a defect that would no longer be attributable to the publisher.

If an update has a negative impact on your access to or use of the service, you may terminate the contract by operation of law, free of charge, within 30 days of the update or of the date on which you became aware of it, if that date is later. This right does not apply if the impact is minor.

Period for which updates are provided. Updates necessary to keep the service in conformity, including security updates, are provided throughout the Premium subscription period for Subscribers, including renewals, and throughout the period in which the App is operated for the free version.

To benefit from all features and fixes, we still recommend keeping the App up to date. Ammar Osei-Mohamend reserves the right to stop supporting versions earlier than N-2 after giving prior notice in the App.

Article 8 — Intellectual property

8.1 Publisher’s intellectual property

The App, its source code, design, text, algorithms, models, databases, trademarks and logos are protected works under intellectual property law. They are the exclusive property of Ammar Osei-Mohamend or its licensors.

Ammar Osei-Mohamend grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App, limited to use in accordance with these Terms.

Any unauthorised reproduction, representation, adaptation, distribution or exploitation constitutes infringement punishable under Articles L335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

8.2 Your data

The content you enter in Molleva (notes, priorities, intentions, etc.) belongs entirely to you. You grant us only a non-exclusive technical licence, limited to the rights strictly necessary to provide the service (hosting, processing, displaying the content on your screen, backing it up and exporting it at your request).

We claim no rights in your content beyond these technical operations.

Article 9 — Limitation of liability

9.1 Health notice — IMPORTANT

Molleva is a personal-clarity tool. It is in no way a substitute for a mental health professional, doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist or any other therapist.

If you are going through a period of intense psychological distress, or are thinking about hurting yourself or ending your life, we strongly encourage you to contact a professional or call:

🆘 3114 — National Suicide Prevention Helpline

Free, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — from France

This number must not be removed from this document.

9.2 General limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law and mandatory consumer-protection provisions, Ammar Osei-Mohamend’s liability is limited to direct and foreseeable losses resulting from a proven breach of its contractual obligations.

Ammar Osei-Mohamend cannot be held liable for:

  • indirect, consequential or non-material loss (loss of data, loss of productivity, or non-material harm independent of a direct breach on our part);
  • data loss resulting from use that does not comply with these Terms or from a failure of your device;
  • malfunctions of your device, internet connection or operating system;
  • content you enter in the App;
  • decisions you make based on suggestions from the App or its AI features.

These limitations of liability do not apply in cases of gross negligence, fraud or breach of an essential contractual obligation.

9.3 Liability for AI features

Results provided by artificial intelligence features (breaking down priorities, voice structuring, photo OCR import) are suggestions, not recommendations. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on those suggestions. These features may not be relied on as a source of professional advice (medical, legal, financial or otherwise).

Article 10 — Suspension and termination

10.1 At your request

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account. Deletion is permanent. Local data (session, reminders, preferences and temporary files) is erased immediately from your device; account data is purged from the server within 7 days at most. Some technical backups may remain for up to 30 days.

⚠️ If you have an active Premium subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel it. See the Terms of Sale (Article 8.2) for how to cancel the subscription.

10.2 By the publisher — minor breach

If you commit a non-serious breach of these Terms, Ammar Osei-Mohamend may send a formal notice by email to the address associated with your account. If you do not remedy the breach within 15 days, Ammar Osei-Mohamend may suspend or terminate your account.

If a suspended or terminated account has an active Premium subscription, a pro-rated refund for the unused period will be offered.

10.3 By the publisher — serious breach

In the event of a serious and established breach of these Terms (attempted compromise of the service’s security, fraud or unlawful use), Ammar Osei-Mohamend may suspend or terminate the account immediately and without notice. Serious breaches include:

  • any attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App’s systems;
  • use of automated scripts or bots;
  • subscription fraud (fraudulent purchases, repeated abusive chargebacks);
  • any conduct likely to harm other users or the security of the service.

In this case, no refund is due for the Premium subscription.

Article 11 — Assignment and transfer

11.1 Transfer of the business

If Ammar Osei-Mohamend’s business is assigned, merged, acquired or wholly or partly transferred to a third party, the rights and obligations under these Terms may be transferred to the transferee. Users will be notified of such a transfer at least 30 days in advance by a notice in the App and by email. If a user does not accept the transfer, they may delete their account and data before the transfer takes effect.

11.2 No assignment by the user

You may not assign or transfer to a third party your rights or obligations under these Terms or your Molleva account.

Article 12 — Force majeure

Ammar Osei-Mohamend cannot be held liable for a failure to perform its contractual obligations if that failure results from an event of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, including a natural disaster, act of war or terrorism, pandemic affecting operations, exceptional cyberattack, or general internet or hosting infrastructure outage not attributable to the publisher.

In the event of force majeure, Ammar Osei-Mohamend will inform users as soon as possible and endeavour to restore the service as soon as possible.

Article 13 — Rights concerning your personal data

You have rights of access, data portability, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection concerning your personal data. You can exercise these rights:

  • Directly in the App (JSON export via Profile → Export my data; deletion via Profile → Delete my account)
  • By email at contact@molleva.fr

For full details of the processing and how to exercise your rights, see our Privacy Policy.

Article 14 — Changes to the Terms

Ammar Osei-Mohamend may change these Terms at any time. In the event of a material change, you will be notified in the App at least 15 days before it takes effect.

Continuing to use the App after the new Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes. If you do not accept the new Terms, you may delete your account before they take effect.

The current version is available in the App (Profile → Legal information).

Article 15 — Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, we invite you to contact us first at contact@molleva.fr to try to resolve it amicably.

If no amicable resolution is reached, the French courts will have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory rules in the consumer’s country of residence.
